Informant Management and Undercover Operations

An 8-hour course which focuses on confidential informant cultivation, management and operations.  Additionally, the course will take a deep dive into undercover operations; both undercover street operations and undercover jail operations, supporting homicide cases.  This training program is designed for law enforcement personnel currently assigned to a special investigative unit, those looking to transfer into a specialized unit, or supervisors managing a gang, narcotics, or undercover unit.  This course is taught by a 30-year veteran of a Southern California law enforcement agency who has worked approximately 75 undercover operations throughout the Nation, both on the streets and in jail settings. He has also been the handler of several high level confidential sources. The presentation will include case studies with operational videos, audio clips, and photos.  This course will provide the knowledge and skills in cultivating and managing confidential informants, safely conducting undercover operations, and much more.  This is a class unlike any other, sign up now for our next offering!

Sureño Gangs & The Mexican Mafia / Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs-The Fundamentals

 

This unique 8-hour course will cover two distinctly different criminal organizations that have spread throughout the United States over the last several decades. Firstly, the course will cover Sureño street gangs and the Mexican Mafia. Sureño gangs have a presence in most jurisdictions across the country and the Mexican Mafia has a strong foothold as well. This course will examine the history of the Sureño - Mexican Mafia relationship, how the two organizations function together, and how to build criminal cases targeting the two organizations.

Secondly, the course will also cover the fundamentals of the Outlaw Motorcycle Gang subculture. Every state in the country has an OMG presence. This course will address the fundamental concepts of the OMG subculture in order to understand how the dominant OMG organizations operate. The course will cover the meaning of patches and tattoos, the history of rivalries, acts of on-going violence, law enforcement investigative techniques, and much more. Real life case video, audio, and photographs will be utilized throughout both presentations.
